Went with a client to Bentley ( I was an MB manager) to get his wife a car. They ordered us more sushi than 4 people could eat we drank Dom did coke and f’d hookers. OK ok jk about coke amd hookers, but I’m sure they would have supplied if we asked.

He gave me a $300 bottle of scotch just for going. Amd paid for the car with a black card.

I believe they do it because they can.
